BPAA, USBC AND THE BOWLING HALL of FAME SHARE SAME FACILITY Board members of the Bowling Proprietors Association of America (BPAA), United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and the trustees of the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame have all agreed to share the same facilities in Arlington, Texas.
CONNECTICUT BPA ELECTS 2008 OFFICERS Shawn McDowell, Bowl New England District Supervisor for Connecticut/Masschusetts was elected president, Dom Griek, Nutmeg Bowl, Fairfield, vice president and Bill DeDominics, Torrington returns as secretary/ treasurer.
CBP PROPRIETORS APPOINT YOUTH DIRECTOR Bill Clay, Farmington, CT was appointed Youth Director of the Connecticut Bowling Proprietors Association. His primary duties will be to coordinate CBP's Youth Bowling Program among CBP members. Bill is a retired school teacher with an extensive background in bowling. He is an avid bowler, a certified bowling instructor and co-owner of a pro shop. His first project is to assist members in introducing the Bowler’s Ed In-School program to schools. This program, a curriculum that is offered thru BPAA, is in many schools nation-wide. Proprietors or managers interested in this program may contact Bill at (860) 306-9567.
